Responsibilities: This role is a project management position for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) design, development and implementation in the Manufacturing site of a pharmaceutical packaging site. This multi-year project requires coordination and collaboration with external vendors, global corporate Teams, and key stakeholders in various governance teams and Functional SMEs.In addition, this position will support the coordination and execution of improvements to process, procedure and training practices in visual inspection, primary and secondary packaging operational areas related (but not limited) to the MES scope.
Main responsibilities:
Develop project schedule including key milestones to ensure project is completed on schedule
Identify, communicate and mitigate risks within the project scope
Manage vendor relationships to ensure project objectives related to cost, quality, and delivery are met
Facilitate cross functional project team meetings
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create software solution capable of meeting needs for digital batch record and enhanced performance monitoring of manufacturing equipment
Provide stakeholders with key information to support both tactical and strategic decisions related to project prioritization, resource allocation and broader site initiatives such as business planning and shutdown timing
Lead the team through benchmarking with areas external to the site to capitalize on replication opportunities and share best practices
Ensure MES system can improve or maintained with manufacturing, quality, and safety standards by consulting and understanding global standards and local business processes
Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and accountable for implementing all HSE corporate and site goals
Communicate effectively in both English and Japanese to facilitate smooth project execution and stakeholder engagement
