脱炭素（GHG・CFPの算定や削減）の取組は、技術、設計、調達、工場、品質、環境、施設など多くの職能が力を合わせて推進しなければ、成果が出ません。
そのため事業部の中枢として、法令や顧客からの要請を見ながら優先順位を考えて取組を企画し、活動に落とし込むことが重要になります。
また、より効果のある活動とするため、営業とともに顧客と直接的に会話して事業部の脱炭素取組を説明しつつ、先方の意思と要求を確認してニーズに応えることも重要な役割になります。

■具体的な業務例：エナジーソリューション事業部における環境取組（主に脱炭素分野）の企画と活動推進（欧州電池規則をはじめとする法令や社会制度の理解、GHGプロトコルなど世界の環境スタンダードの理解、及び顧客要請に基づく活動の優先順位付けを含む）
事業部の各拠点、各組織が推進している環境取組全般の把握と、PEC直轄の環境方針への反映・整合（直轄環境部門への働きかけ）
欧米のデータセンター顧客（ハイパースケーラー）や他の顧客との、サステナビリティ全般における会議の進行・報告・ニーズの把握（営業とともに実施）
顧客要請に基づく、事業部内でのＧＨＧ（Scope１，２，３）の算定、ＣＦＰの算定の実務
他職能と連携した具体的な炭素取組の推進（工場や調達先の省エネ、再エネ導入、環境証書購入、低CFP材・再生材の導入など）
