海務担当者として、船長や船員と英語で連絡を取りながら、安全運航を第一に保有船・管理船の安全運航をサポートしていただきます。トラブル発生時には国内外へ出張し、船舶の船長・船員からの情報収集、状況把握、指示を行い解決を図ります。業務詳細:
保有船・管理船の安全運航のサポート
外航船船長と密なコミュニケーションによる安全運航サポート
船舶への天候情報提供、航海計画の安全性確認、港湾リスクや貨物リスクの注意喚起対応
国内外への出張を通じた着岸している船舶の検査や監査、トラブル対応
外部検査・監査対応と指摘事項の分析、是正対応
必要に応じてグループ各社との連携

上記のように船舶の安全運航と船舶管理がミッションとなります。稀に出張機会もありますが期間は1～3日程度の短期が多く、出張先はほとんどが日本国内、稀に中国となります。（トラブル対応等で欧州など遠方に行く可能性はゼロではありませんが、現在はほぼない状況です。）入渠先は、中国が大半で、ドック業務は主として工務監督が担います。
