Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
  • Purchasing Management
    • Evaluate the supply network and establish strategic partnerships with suppliers.
    • Budgeting and management of material procurement.
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
  • Production Planning
    • Analyze demand forecasts and develop appropriate production plans.
    • Manage production schedules and optimize production efficiency.
    • Monitor and optimize inventory levels.
  • Logistics Management
    • Develop logistics plans to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of products.
    • Warehouse management and inventory optimization.
    • Monitor and improve transportation processes.
  • Risk Management:
    • Assess and manage risks across the entire supply chain.
    • Monitor supplier risks and consider appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and develop the supply chain team.
    • Evaluate team performance and propose improvement measures.
    • Technology and Process Improvement:
    • Research and introduce new technologies and best practices.
    • Drive initiatives to streamline and improve supply chain processes.
    • Lead the Global level project within the site.
  • Budget Management
    • Develop and monitor budgets for supply chain activities.
    • Analyze and report on budget performance in various areas, including purchasing, production planning, and logistics.
    • Create the accurate mid-term production plan for budgeting.
    • Study and create the long-term production plan to predict the needs of investment in the future and reflect to budget plan.
  • Performance management
    • Set “Site SC objectives” based on Saitama Factory objectives and deliver the results OTIF. 
    • Identify the KPIs and control severely.
  • New Product
    • Develop and establish new supply chain process and procedures for new products with the project initiatives.
    • Control production plan to execute the new product development.
    • Lead Saitama projects as a project leader. 
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
  • Experience for Supply Chain Management: over 10 years
  • Service years at production site: over 5 years
  • Experience as project leaders with middle magnitude for the company: at least 1 project
