Company overview: The company is the Japanese subsidiary of a global automotive technology supplier specializing in lighting and electronics. It provides automotive lighting systems, sensors, radar solutions, electronic control components, and electrification-related technologies for vehicle manufacturers. In addition, it offers aftermarket products and technical support, helping customers advance vehicle safety, driver assistance, connectivity, and electrification initiatives.
Responsibilities: ■Responsibilities
Leading and steering the cross-regional radar product development team and being accountable for the holistic product development in accordance with the product V-model, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and PEP (Product Engineering Process).
Ensuring product maturity according to agreed technical requirements, including product validation with DfM/DfA loops up to SOP and extending 3 months after SOP until quality is stabilized.
Responsible for the development of technical products in line with contracted customer/stakeholder requirements, ensuring full product conformity (e.g., ASIL, ASPICE) and achievement of QCT targets for B- or C-level project complexity.
Acting as the (internal/external) customer interface for product engineering and representing all technical topics to both internal and external stakeholders.
Leading acquisition activities to win new business.
