要素技術課題の分解（タスク分解）、社内グループおよび外部パートナーへの分担設計、進捗・リスク・技術的成立性の管理
2. 炉システムの概念設計・システム統合チェンバー、第一壁・壁保護、熱取出し／発電系、燃料サイクル（トリチウム）、中性子遮蔽、真空・排気などの系統設計の統括
炉システム解析（システムコード）等による設計点の探索と、各要素技術への要求仕様への落とし込み
安全・規制動向のフォローと、将来の許認可を見据えた設計要求への反映
3. 国立研究所・大学との連携推進共同研究テーマの企画、相手先研究者との技術折衝
共同研究の進捗運営、技術レビュー会の主導、成果の社内への取り込みと設計反映
コンソーシアム等の枠組みにおける分担設計と、幹事機関としての取りまとめ
4. 公的プログラム・外部発信への対応公的プログラムへの提案書作成、評価対応、報告業務
学会・国際会議での発表、論文執筆（社内の外部発表・知財承認フローに基づく）
5. 組織づくり・技術基盤の整備炉開発チームの採用・育成、および若手技術者への技術指導
設計文書体系、技術標準、設計検証プロセスの整備
