I have been strongly interested in technology since I was young, and I became a recruiter because I wanted to contribute to the IT industry through career support. In my previous role, I worked at a recruitment firm specializing in IT talent, mainly supporting candidates with their career development.

However, there were certain limitations on the types of positions I could work on, and opportunities to support hiring in the software engineering field, which is one of my strengths, were also limited.

What attracted me to BRS was its dual-consultant model, where consultants with expertise in specific industries and functions support both companies and candidates. I felt this would allow me to make use of my own expertise while being involved in more meaningful, fundamental matching.

Another deciding factor was the high level of autonomy in how we work. Because we can pursue results while designing the balance between client and candidate support ourselves, I felt BRS was an environment where I could continue improving my capabilities as a consultant.

I was also surprised by how actively consultants share information with one another. In my previous role, work was often more individual-based, but at BRS, there is a well-established culture of sharing successful approaches and knowledge related to candidate support across the team in order to deliver greater value.

I believe this kind of teamwork is one of BRS's strengths.

After joining, I went through several months of intensive training to build the knowledge needed as a dual-consultant recruiter, and the content was both practical and highly valuable. Through role-playing, I was able to build a foundation that gave me confidence in client-facing situations, where I had less experience.

I also received flexible support based on my needs for topics I wanted to explore in more depth, such as how to handle offer negotiations. I believe this helped me strengthen my ability to respond to different situations. 

Being able to understand internal announcements and official documents in my native language, English, makes BRS a comfortable place to work.

In day-to-day work as well, there is a supportive atmosphere where team members help one another communicate in more professional English or Japanese, so I rarely feel concerned about language barriers.
