Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

• Plan and implement strategies to develop new business and achieve GPW target by cooperating with his/her dept. manager and regional team.
• In line with the compnaies underwriting guideline, make decisions to accept, modify or reject insurance applications after scrutiny of all the required studies regarding risk involved.
• Maintain and develop the distribution channels to constantly obtain submissions and renewal businesses.
• Collaborate with the regional/global team and utilize the company's best practices for underwriting, product development, and marketing activities.
• Adequately handle queries from agencies, brokers and policy holders, and negotiate terms and conditions as necessary.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Strong motivation to start/build a career in insurance industry. Insurance background is not required. This position is open to new grads as well as to those having a couple of yrs work experience.
• Communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in both Japanese/English to build/keep good relationship with stakeholders
• University graduate or above

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience of studying in International Schools in Japan and/or experience of studying/working abroad is preferred.
