Manages and directs manufacturing and Distribution activities in Japan including production scheduling, planning, material procurement, inventory management, manufacturing engineering, facilities/maintenance management, shop floor supervision, quality, EHS, Customer Service and Distribution (DC) activities.
Develops strategic plans related to manufacturing, supply chain and distribution capability and optimize the cost structure.
Leading both the Plant and Japan Supply Chain team to drive continues operational excellence and supply chain excellence, supporting Japan business growth.
Drive improvement on safety culture and safe work environment, employee engagement, sustainability and develop a strong operations and supply chain team to support business growth.
Identifies and develops opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and cost structure of the relevant manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Establishes appropriate KPIs and manages improvement plans to retain and rebuild customer trust through excellent delivery and quality performance.
Partners with Global and Regional Operations to deploy standard processes.
