Responsibilities: As a Strategic Market Development Director, you will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships and leading M&A opportunities in Japan. This is a high impact role that reports directly into the Japan Country lead with a dotted line into the regional Strategy lead. You will work with cross-functional teams in Japan and across the globe, in an entrepreneurial environment.
Build strategic partnerships and M&A pipeline including identifying/screening potential partners and engaging with them
Drive outcomes for strategic partnerships
Engage with potential M&A targets and support execution of M&A
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess capabilities and fit of partners and M&A targets
Develop external network and engage with key market players
Strategic market analysis: provide deep market insights on strategic topics, provide competitive assessment and develop recommendations for key growth opportunities
