This position will involve planning and implementing a total brand renewal strategy for the Japanese market for our brand (for both dogs and cats) in collaboration with local and global stakeholders. As with other line managers, you will be expected to have a business /organizational perspective and lead initiatives for team engagement.
Main responsibilities:- Important Responsibilities
- You will develop the brand relaunch strategy and lead and execute the project including brand proposition, innovation pipeline, consumer activation and short to mid-term P&L.
- He will lead collaboration with local and global stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that blend local customer insights with global brand strategies.
- Independently lead and manage the day to day business planning, operations, projects and activations for the brand with minimal support from your manager.
- Contribute to the global/regional brand community by sharing key learnings, updates and best practices.
- Collaborate with other Associates to lead designated cross-functional initiatives.
- Collaborate with your line manager and other managers to co-lead/create initiatives to improve team engagement.
- General Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies within your area of responsibility.
- Implement excellent line management and supervise associates, temporary workers and contract staff.
- Identify issues or problems requiring support to leadership team and other regional/global stakeholders and escalate as necessary.
- Leverage your expertise to expand perspectives, collaborate and have an impact within cross-functional teams.

- Build a highly engaged team.
- Work with line managers to support the development of team members (e.g. peer assistance, coaching, education).
- As the Deputy People Manager, you will plan and lead the development of team members.

Minimum requirements:
- Ability to communicate in Japanese and English
- 10+ years of experience in FMCG marketing, product development experience, or equivalent proven track record
