After 7 years of being in the military in Canada, Laurent came to Japan in 2015. He worked as an English teacher, also as a salesperson in the automotive export business before joining BRS in 2021.

In the electronics and machinery industries, where I specialize, companies tend to search for an extremely technical skill set and specific experience. It is rare that the details that those companies are looking for can be found easily on a CV and therefore, I take my time to communicate with each candidate thoroughly. This allows me to propose the jobs that perfectly match the candidate's skills, experiences, and needs. This is the same for the clients, I make sure that I capture the demand behind each search.
As a result, I have been able to support job changes of the similar positions across different industries and cultures - actively working with both Japanese and foreign-capital companies.
I understand that changing jobs can be a very big commitment and it can be challenging, especially for those in the electronics and machinery industry.
