After working as an NHK reporter at the Kuala Lumpur Bureau, Cindy moved to Japan in 2011 to pursue graduate studies.
Upon completing the Master’s Degree program in Linguistics at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS), she began her career in Executive Search for HR roles.Cindy joined BRS in 2017 and currently serves as a Manager in the HR sector, primarily handling mid-senior positions.
She enjoys creating latte art with her home espresso machine as a hobby.

During the initial chat, I would try to assess the HR talents ‘strength and achievements in depth by asking behavioral questions listed on resumes,Through this approach, I could also connect with the values and personalities of the talents with our clients.

Candidates who work with me can also expect thorough guidance for each interview step by adapting STAR method. I can help identify the candidates ‘most appropriate stories to share in each interview and coach them on how they should behave.

On the client’s side, I strive to gain a deeper understanding of their future missions and the qualities they seek in candidates. Since I have extensive network in the market, my understanding of our clients is usually much more than what’s written on the job descriptions. My communication style is open and transparent. I would proactively share some ideas with my clients to ensure successful search, thus serving as a true consultant.

By focusing on minimizing the expectation gaps, multiple candidates and clients have expressed their satisfaction after joining/hiring. It brings me great sense of accomplishment to see job seekers leading fulfilling lives in their new working environments.
