Own general ledger processes in compliance with local GAAP and group accounting policies for Japan and APAC region.
Assist with the month-end close, schedules and records to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Process invoices and credit notes in timely and accurate manner including ensuring correct GL coding, game coding, fixed asset posting, expense category, JCT, etc.
Process staff expense claims and ensuring local Japan and APAC team members are using the correct expense category, game coding, etc.
Manage invoice approval and prepare payment to ensure timely payment and recording.
Vendor Management (New vendor set up, bank information, supplier reconciliations, checking terms and discounts, etc.)
Reconcile intercompany transactions and confirmations
Maintain the fixed assets register, including asset postings and monthly depreciation
Collaborate with the Accounts Payable, Procurement and T&E teams on reconciliations and discrepancy resolution
Partner with external tax advisors and internal global Tax team to manage tax compliance and reporting in Japan and APAC region including annual corporate income tax, consumption tax preparation and submission.
Provide support during external and internal audits.
Manage external (bank, tax, government authorities) and internal stakeholders’ inquiries.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support business units with financial and accounting insights.
Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives and help with ad-hoc projects.

■ポジションについて
グローバル事業内の経理人材として、「グローバル」
をキーワードにした広範な経理業務をお任せします。
部門別収支計算のみならず、同社が発行する英文媒体や、国際イベントなど、グローバル事業が統括する具体的な事業について、各事業担当者とともに会計情報として取りまとめ、発信していただきます。
そのほか、グループの海外現地法人４社（アメリカ、イギリス、シンガポール、香港）の予算・決算などの取りまとめや、海外出資先のレビューなど、多岐にわたります。
英文の決算書や契約書のチェック、メール、オンライン会議など、日常的に英語を使用する機会が多くあるため、会計の知識のみならず英語でのビジネススキルが活かせる職場です。
■具体的な業務内容
グローバル事業の部門別収支計算（ERPシステムの運営含む）、予算管理、差異分析、各事業の収支取りまとめ
海外現地法人や出資先の予算・決算などの取りまとめ
フィナンシャル・タイムズを始めとする海外グループ企業との協業
英語の資料分析（決算書や契約書）、事業サイド現場担当者等に対する助言など
