Our client is is a French travel and tourism operator headquartered in Paris, specializing in all-inclusive holidays, resorts, dining, excursion.
They specialize in premium all-inclusive vacations packages for families.
In Japan, they owns resorts across Hokkaido and Okinawa.

Responsibilities

The Buyer will manage in autonomy the responsible categories and assist the Senior Purchasing Manager implementing the company’s Purchasing strategy to the purchasing categories he/she is charge of, both for the resorts & office in Japan, ie mainly PMH, Local income, Transfer and Capex (stage etc.).The Buyer contributes and acts in respect of the Group’s Purchasing strategy on the specific categories listed above, in order to meet the needs of internal clients and to supply with products and services at the appropriate level of quality/cost and lead-time.
Main responsibilities:

• Savings on purchase price and on Total Cost of Ownership
• Satisfaction of internal and external clients regarding purchases scope
• Application of purchasing procedures, processes and methods
• Reduction in number of suppliers and qualification of suppliers meeting business Quality requirements
• Comprehensiveness and reliability of contract information communicated internally
• Group synergies on purchasing categories ; Sourcing for the Group

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• 3-5 years Working experience in Procurement within Hospitality or Retail industry in Asia (Indirect Procurement experience is mandatory).
• Expertise and experience in purchasing negotiations and practices
• Technical knowledge of purchasing categories
• Basic legal knowledge on purchasing
