- Main responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance Prepare, define, and update the Project HSE Plan; ensure compliance from subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with Japan HSE policies (Zero Accidents, Zero Incidents, Near-miss reporting).
Quality ManagementDefine and update Construction Inspection Test Plans; conduct quality inspections.
Oversee equipment/material reception and handover to contractors.
Technical & Construction ManagementPre-Construction: Conduct constructability studies, define scopes, risks, and mitigation measures.
During Construction:
Lead site activities ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Manage contractor interfaces, site changes, and documentation.
Post-Construction: Summarize lessons learned, as-built documentation, and propose improvements.
Coordination & CommunicationRegularly report to the Construction/Project Manager on manpower, schedule, budget, and risks.
