Oversee monthly and quarterly closing process by analyzing gaps (Actual vs Budget, Actual vs Actual) in Gross Profit, SG&A, other income/expenses, Cashflow etc.
Proactively identify and address SG&A risks and opportunities
Lead overall P&L, BS and Cash Flow planning process by closely working with franchise controllers, regional FP&A team and other relevant functions
Enhance forecast accuracy and provide risks and opportunities in a timely manner to prevent critical business issues
Drive change management for FP&A process in Japan Consumer Business working closely with Global/Regional company stakeholders in preparation

Responsibilities: Main responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for all financial accounting activities in the Risk and Insurance Services (RIS) entities in Japan including general accounting, financial & tax reporting to regional controllership.
Lead and develop local statutory financial statements for the RIS entities.
Set clear targets that take account of differing priorities of stakeholders and hold enabling functions accountable for the quality of support and overall stakeholder satisfaction.
Develop strong relationships not only with local FP&A, Legal and other stakeholders, but also with global and regional controllership teams.
