- Main responsibilities:
As a Senior IT Project Manager in Japan IT, leading the digital transformation in Japan and serve as the go-to person for global IT project organization.
Overseeing the entire Japan project portfolio and work within a cross-functional team.
Leading projects for end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives, ensuring business value.
Responsibilities include project planning, execution, stakeholder management, risk management, team leadership, and communication/reporting.
Build Strong Stakeholder Relationships:Establish robust relationships with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs and provide suitable IT solutions.
Align IT Strategy with Business Objectives:Ensure alignment of IT strategy with business goals, guaranteeing that IT investments deliver value and support organizational objectives.
Advocate for IT Initiatives:Champion IT initiatives and projects, securing appropriate prioritization and resources.
Monitor Project Progress:Supervise IT project progress, proactively addressing issues to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
Oversee IT Project Portfolio:Manage the IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery of value.
Establish Portfolio Management Processes:Develop and maintain portfolio management processes and tools for visibility, control, and decision support.
Collaborate for Efficient Resource Allocation:Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to prioritize projects, allocate resources efficiently, and manage risks and interdependencies.
Regular Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting:Monitor the health and progress of the IT portfolio, providing regular updates to senior leadership and making recommendations for improvements.
