Responsibilities

This position plays a key role in establishing and transitioning offshore development and operations teams for newly acquired projects. The successful candidate will help redesign operational processes for offshore delivery, coordinate knowledge transfer activities, and establish sustainable operational frameworks that support long-term service stability. The role provides exposure to large-scale projects across multiple industries and close collaboration with global delivery teams.
Main responsibilities:

• Transform existing operational processes into models suitable for offshore development and operations
• Lead the setup of offshore teams and transition activities for newly acquired projects
• Scenario 1: Transition of Existing Systems Operations
  • Develop and manage transition plans for transferring systems operated by clients or incumbent vendors to internal operations teams
  • Plan project participation schedules and resource allocation
  • Design and manage training and knowledge-transfer schedules
  • Evaluate team member readiness and support operational ramp-up activities
• Scenario 2: Offshore Operations Design for New Systems
  • Design operational frameworks that support offshore operations from the early stages of system development
  • Coordinate handover activities from development teams to operations teams at system go-live
  • Establish and embed stable offshore operational models
• Project Areas
  • Support planning, program management, and implementation activities for enterprise system projects
  • Support planning and implementation of data platform initiatives
  • Participate in IT operations automation and AI-related projects
  • Develop offshore utilization strategies, create transition plans, execute migration activities, and manage post-transition operations

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Experience as a Project Manager (PM) or Project Management Office (PMO) professional
• Strong capabilities in task management and risk management
• Experience in operations design
• Experience in offshore development or offshore operations
• Business-level Japanese language proficiency

Preferred qualifications:

• Business-level English proficiency
• Business-level Vietnamese proficiency
• Additional language skills
• Ability to travel and work on-site as required for short-term or long-term assignments
