Responsibilities

■Position Overview
Lead the Material Support & Logistics function in Japan, overseeing supply chain operations, spares and repairs order administration, warehousing, procurement, and distribution activities.
This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes, and leading a team of approximately 20 professionals across multiple functions.

■Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Material Support & Logistics function in Japan
  • Oversee supply chain operations, logistics, warehousing, and distribution activities
  • Manage spares and repairs order administration processes
  • Lead MRO supply operations and inventory management
  • Oversee procurement activities for both aerospace and indirect categories
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor service levels, inventory performance, and operational KPIs
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across global teams
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20 employees
  • Implement process optimization and organizational improvement initiatives

Requirements

■Required Qualifications
  • Experience in supply chain management and spare parts order administration
  • Knowledge of the aerospace industry and related customer support operations
  • Experience using SAP for order administration and supply chain processes
  • Experience with warranty management, spare parts, and repair operations
  • Experience managing budgets and KPIs through reporting and dashboard tools
  • Professional proficiency in English


■Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Airbus Helicopters (AH) organizations, directorates, and support networks
  • Japanese language proficiency
