Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility and management of the company's operations and support functions.
  • Assist in formulating strategies in the company market expansion, customer and employee retention and development in Japan.
  • Formulate local development strategies to achieve company goals according to the overall global strategy.
  • Develop a Go-To-Market strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction in the local market. Build long-term relationships and extend global and regional customers & Partners to Japan.
  • Conduct research identifying markets and customer needs vs company Service portfolio.
  • Arrange business meetings and events with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Take ownership of the sales process and lead commercial negotiations in line with internally agreed parameters.
  • Carry out budget planning and forecast cycle.
  • Help build the firm's brand and increase brand awareness to generate quality leads.
  • Attendance and participation at industry events
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in communication, computer, marketing, business administration, etc.
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role in Japan.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge for Japan
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field
  • 2 years or above experience in Business Development, communication or sales, marketing

Preferred qualifications:
  • Proven sales track record in BPO is a plus.
