Our client is engaged in the sale of machinery, equipment, and parts.

Responsibilities

This position supports a project for the Ministry of Defense. By repeating simulations based on defense scenarios, you will lead the project to simulate optimal equipments and systems required to satisfy the nation's defense concept.
Main responsibilities:

• Lead the project from a technical perspective as the engineer in charge facing the Ministry of Defense following a V-model methodology
• Define customer and system requirements for the team which will the use simulation tools to create and execute scenarios and conduct statistical analysis of the results
• Conduct meetings and interviews and coordination at customer sites
• Coordination with overseas partners (by phone, email, and video conference)

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of project management from a hardware, systems or software perspective
• Experience with V-Model project management in any industry
• Communication skills
• Other
  • Domestic and international business trips, visits to clients
  • Japanese nationality needed due to national defense requirements

Preferred qualifications:

• Higher Education a plus (Master's degree, Doctoral degree...)
• Language: TOEIC 700 points or higher - Ability to discuss with internal partners overseas (fluency not a requirement)
• Experience with: Development environment, architecture, framework design, statistics, physics or data analysis are a plus
