Responsibilities
  • Transform and own an outstanding supply chain experience for our customers and help improve the efficiency of our overall supply chain including crafting and driving new initiatives related to inventory, demand forecasts, demand accuracy, E&O (excess and obsolete) reduction, and service level improvement. 
  • Responsible for handling and owning the team of planners to attain (and performing better than) Net Inventory, DOS, E&O, Service Levels, and timely metrics and KPIs.
  • Expand and lead a balanced SIOP process within the organization including people, processes, and systems.
-Lead, facilitate, and/or support the monthly SIOP meetings with commercial teams and executives, and provide clear and concise view of demand and production to align wiwith projected customer needs. -Coordinates the Pre-SIOP and SIOP processes and in participation in full SIOP cadence.-Champions SIOP process to apply a detailed process to resolve right inventory levels and to ensure attainment of revenue targets.
  • Co-lead and facilitate annual planning process with Finance to ensure an aligned annual operations plan to ensure operational alignment.
  • Drive planning effectiveness and efficiency process improvements to improve workload management, fill rates, inventory levels, and alignment with commercial teams and other SCM functions.
  • Lead a team of planners and buyer/planners and assigns demand and supply planning activities and tasks as needed.
-Daily Management, administration, and maintenance of the SIOP process and demand and inventory management -Develop a forward looking (12-24 Months) aggregated demand plan for Japan where possible, which acts as a basis for inventory and resource planning purposes.-Providing monthly guidance on inventory and DOS performance and forecasts.-Establish and administer job rotations, task back up, succession planning, and standard work.
  • Identifying and facilitate resolution of potential supply chain issues by reviewing demand and supply plans and meeting with factories, supply locations, and commercial teams.
  • Lead monthly team meetings, Demand/Supply reviews, Commercial collaboration meetings, cross-functional supply chain meeting, and SIOP process.
Requirements
  • Consistent track record in a similar role, with people management and leadership experience.
  • BA/BS college degree or its equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • APICS / IBF or other forecasting Certification preferred
  • Showed strength in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
  • Experience with Demand Planning tools (SAP APO, Oracle, SPM, Manugistics or other software) related to demand management and forecasting is helpful.
  • Experienced with other software packages including Windows, Visio, MIRO, SPSS, Access, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, organization navigation, decision making, and presentation skills.

  • Experience leading and running transformation projects and roadmaps, including formal project management, PPI, Six Sigma Black Belt, and/or Lean Enterprise/Manufacturing certification.
  • Develop a talent development and acquisition strategy to continuously improve the supply chain/planning function.
