Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
  • Product Management – Make up
    • To plan and execute new product launch from both operation side and strategic side
    • Prepare marketing platform with product concept, launch strategy, launch support co-operating with other departments
    • Prepare / monitor strategic product portfolio for both short / long term
    • Prepare annual marketing calendar for effective implementation to achieve sustainable Make up sales growth
    • Prepare national / local promotion programs to assist counter activities and enhance make up sales
    • Prepare and provide product information to relevant departments for clear understanding of concept and sales talks.
    • Analyze sales and express in organized report to management with necessarily follow up action.
  • Leading cross category projects
    • Promotion consolidation & impact analysis
    • Any other project to contribute to the brand
    • Analyze competitor’s activities.
    • Propose new product development proposal with research/understanding of market trend to MOP & Central.
    • Prepare necessary POSM (tester, sample, dummy) and decide counter display with VMD.
    • Prepare product collateral materials such as consumer leaflets, handouts with creative department.
    • Develop and check touch point expression with related department (institutional AD with creative, Tie ups with PR, DM with CRM, Digital touchpoint with digital team)
    • Handle necessary registration process. (New item registration, Item Master data management)
    • Follow-up closely logistics by coordinating with Supply Planning and Central Marketing especially at launch / post launch timing to secure stable product delivery
    • Control responsible A&P budget related to product and promotion
    • Regularly visit POS, especially MBS to continuously enhance Make up sales
    • Coordinate with sales team/central team to expand makeup service using specific devices to enhance makeup expertise
    • Support Make up event with necessary support coordinating with sales team/training team
    • Other tasks directed by supervisors
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
  • Languages
    • Fluent in English (TOEIC 850 equivalent) required for both writing and speaking
    • Japanese Full fluency
  • PC Skills
    • Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Personality
    • Passionate about the brand
    • Active, creative, flexible, structured, responsible, opened mind, well organized
    • Likes cosmetics
    • Digital savvy
    • Curious of trend

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in cosmetics market (makeup category) preferable
