- Responsibilities

- Meet HSSE and Ethics and Compliance target.
- Drive safety leadership across Japan/Korea Supply Chain and Projects in support of the overall lubricant’s targets and ambitions.
- Support North Asia Market performance, deliver targets Financial delivery, and meet Performance KPIs:
- Support North Asia growth plan and Road map trajectory.
- Contract Manufacturing Manager as Plant Chemist
- As primary responsible person, implement their formulation and quality standard at 3P contract manufacturing partners, through working with internal R&D, technical team, and ASPAC functional tags,
- Manage product manufacturing procedures, process, specifications, and quality standard at our 3P partners, for the stable supply and new product launches.
- Japan and Korea Quality Control and Quality Assurance Lead.
- QC audit for 3P Contract Manufacturers periodically, and its GAP closure.
- Lead to make decision for non-conforming material (both produced by contractor and imported from their plant). Communicate with original supplier to seek root cause and implement corrective action.
- Play the key contributor among global quality team in whole company, and lead whole North Asia team in safety goals and requirements.
- Develop and implement quality system (similar, but inferior to ISO 9001).
- Lead to close customer complaint, making decision for non-conforming material (both produced by contractor and imported from thei plant).
- Communicate with original supplier to seek root cause and implement corrective action.
- As technical representative in GSC, support all global/local business growth and efficiency projects. Like New product, suppliers, services, and also regulation and customer specific tech support.
- Requirements

- At least 8 years of experience in Process engineering, or QC/QA, or Purchasing, or other related roles in manufacturing company, preferably Japanese or Western global company.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC, as well as associated compliance requirements.
- Lubricant, or Oil and Energy, or Chemical Industries are preferable.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills with internal and external partners, sometimes geographically diverse teams of stakeholders.
- Understand and can demonstrate their 5 Core values. Safety, Respect, Excellence, Courage, and One Team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (Fluency in English & Japanese essential).
- Graduate – bachelor’s degree in science.
