Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial gases.

Responsibilities

Responsible as a technical leader in production activities and projects.
Lead improvement activities to improve our performance in safety / quality / reliability.

• Set KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for safety, quality, and reliability of the production line. Monitor KPIs on a daily basis and investigate the cause when deviations or abnormalities occur.
• Lead the creation / review and education of work standards and teaching materials for each manufacturing activity. 
• Changes for existing equipment and new projects . 

Requirements

Required experience:

• 5 years of experience as a production technology engineer in the manufacture of chemicals containing dangerous substances
• Familiarity with change management and risk assessment tools (eg HAZOP)
• Experience in small-scale projects (design review, start-up)
• Experience in developing the skills of young employees or managing subordinates as a manager
• (Desired) Experience in handling fine chemicals
• (Desired) Overseas interests Experience of cooperation with related parties
• (Desired) Experience of quality improvement activities

Required knowledge / skills:

• Basic understanding of quality / improvement methods (TQC, Six sigma, 5S, etc.)
• Project management skills
• Communication skills according to the situation with various stakeholders

Required qualifications / degrees:

• Department of Chemical Engineering (master or above)
• Class A hazardous materials handler
