Responsibilities
  • Supervises and evaluates activities of sales engineers within assigned district, providing advice, counsel, and guidance.
  • Participates in the recruitment, selection and training of sales engineer and sales office personnel.
  • Organizes and staff sales territories within district.
  • Develops and implements sales plan.
  • Assists in closures of major purchase orders in district.
  • Increases penetration at existing accounts within district. Broadens district customer base.
  • Responsible for meeting district and territory quota.
  • Supports all sales channels: OEM (original equipment manufacturer), distribution, Molex affiliates and International.
  • Develops and maintains expense budget for district
  • Supports Molex TQM program by following approved policies and procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 successful (performance reviews, meeting quota, etc.) years of sales experience. Knowledge of automotive industry
  • Leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to take charge, initiate actions, make sound decisions and direct others toward the accomplishment of goals.
  • Sales skills that demonstrate the ability to successfully negotiate and close a sales call.
  • Strong organization skills to anticipate, plan, organize and monitor workload.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to build rapport with external contacts and give guidance and advice to direct reports.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Basic PC skills.
  • English skills: TOEIC over 600 score 

<Nice to have>
  • In deep understanding of automotive industry and supply chain 
  • Knowledge of T1 customer base.
  • Sales experience of electric products
  • Self-starter. The nature of a sales position does not allow for direct supervision on a day-to-day basis. The candidate/incumbent must be proactive rather than passive.
