Responsibilities: The Data & Reporting Analyst is a member of Financial Planning & Analysis. You will collaborate and partner with the Finance Business Partners from the same team. You will work with large sets of data to identify trends, patterns and other useful information that can be used by business units and management team to make better decisions on our efficiency and profitability. Also, you are asked with presenting their findings in a clear and a concise way so that they can be easily understood by others. This will include creating reports, charts, graphs etc.
More specific roles and responsibilities are below:
Preparing reports that include detailed analysis of data and the reasons behind business results
Data extraction, manipulation, and upload to/from various financial reporting and planning tools
Creating visual representations of data using charts, graphs etc.
Collecting and analyzing financial data to identify financial trends and potential risks or opportunities for investment within the company’s portfolio
Designing and developing financial models to support valuation, planning and forecasting
Creating and utilizing BI tools and various spreadsheets to support analysis and provide insights
Reviewing forecasting and reporting processes to increase efficiency and productivity
