- Main responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of project development from conception until construction, including but not limited to the following:
Collaborate with METI, prefectural & local governments, utilities, OCTTO, and other government and industry units to gather and analyze market information.
Develop and execute a strategy to originate and successfully develop projects that meet the company’s profitability targets.
Source, evaluate, analyze, and secure land for renewable energy and energy storage projects in collaboration with management, internal staff, and external consultants.
Collaborate with transmission grid operators to determine suitable grid connection areas, and manage all related documentation and correspondence.
Manage all aspects of project permitting including relationships with national, prefectural, and local government entities; industry groups; and local stakeholders.
Collaborate with permitting, technical, legal, and financial resources that support the project development process, and transfer knowledge where applicable.
Manage lean team of land sourcing and project development professionals.
Originate, negotiate, and execute off-take agreements with large purchasers of electricity.
Compile, maintain, and update reports as required by management.
Other development and organizational activities as may be required by the Company.

- Contribute as a core member of the RE Development Business Unit, which covers PV/Wind(Onshore/Offshore) business in Japan, Southeast Asia, and Brazil.Your primary goal will be to drive the growth of our portfolio by establishing and managing long-term partnerships with corporations seeking renewable energy solutions. You will lead the commercial negotiation, contracting, and execution of corporate PPA with a strong focus on top international RE off-takers (e.g., tech giants, data centers, global top brands).
Main responsibilities:
Develop and execute the corporate PPA strategy for the solar business, including identifying target markets, industries, and potential customers
Build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients, understanding their energy needs and sustainability goals to tailor PPA proposals accordingly.
Collaborate with project development teams to assess the feasibility of PPA opportunities and align project timelines with customer needs.
Lead the negotiation and structuring of corporate PPAs, collaborating with legal, finance, and other relevant teams to ensure contract terms meet business requirements.
Establish and maintain relationships with a diverse range of business investors and partners, including international and Japanese companies
Reporting to the Head of the Business Unit and the Business/Project Development Directors
