Responsibilities

This position offers the opportunity to lead large-scale IT infrastructure projects for public sector organizations, social infrastructure operators, and major enterprises. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning through design, implementation, testing, migration, and operational handover, while collaborating with global stakeholders and enhancing both your technical and project management capabilities.
Main responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale IT infrastructure projects worth several hundred million yen and manage teams consisting of several dozen members across design, build, testing, and migration phases
• Take overall responsibility for project planning, design, implementation, testing, migration, and operational handover
• Coordinate with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Manage quality, cost, schedule, and project risks
• Define technical direction and conduct design reviews
• Facilitate meetings with overseas vendors in English and perform technical coordination and issue management
• Manage project members and subcontractors, including talent development and team building
• Contribute to customer value enhancement through proposals involving cloud adoption, operational automation, and security improvements

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Experience leading or managing IT infrastructure projects
• Experience in project management including quality, cost, schedule, and risk management
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive projects forward
• English: Intermediate level
• Ability to communicate professionally with native English speakers, including meeting facilitation, explanations, Q&A sessions, coordination activities, and email correspondence

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with public sector or social infrastructure projects
• Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure design, deployment, and migration projects
• Experience in PMO, quality assurance, and risk management
• Experience with reviews, standardization initiatives, and knowledge management
• Experience developing team members and managing subcontractors or partner organizations
