Our client is an entertainment company engaged in the planning, production, and business development of digital content.

Responsibilities

This leadership role is responsible for building and scaling a global IP business function. You will drive international expansion initiatives for entertainment and digital content IP, leading everything from market strategy and partnership development to team building and business management.
Main responsibilities:

• Develop and execute global expansion strategies
• Identify, develop, and negotiate agreements with overseas licensees, agencies, and platform partners
• Lead localization and international brand awareness initiatives across social media channels
• Build alliances with overseas partners and local representatives
• Manage business plans, budgets, and KPI performance
• Build, lead, and manage teams
• Collaborate with domestic business divisions
• Drive the expansion of IP business opportunities in international markets

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Practical experience in international business development and/or international licensing business
• Experience negotiating cross-border agreements and building strategic partnerships
• Experience developing business strategies and managing budgets and business operations
• English: Advanced
  • Business-level English proficiency or equivalent language capability required for international business development

Prefered qualifications:

• Experience expanding anime, gaming, or entertainment IP into overseas markets, including licensing and joint business initiatives
• Experience in mobile gaming or content businesses within international markets
• Experience launching new businesses or building organizations in a startup environment
• Growth experience on global social media platforms
