Responsibilities

This position is responsible for leading advanced materials and process development within a global technology organization focused on next-generation electronic components. You will drive technology strategy, product innovation, process optimization, and team development while overseeing activities from research through manufacturing. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to technologies supporting growth areas such as AI, energy, and industrial applications.
Main responsibilities:

• Develop and execute technology strategies related to multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) development
• Lead material and process development teams and maximize organizational performance
• Identify technical challenges in R&D activities and develop effective solutions
• Provide expert technical leadership in materials, processes, structures, and performance evaluation
• Support and drive development, engineering, manufacturing, and evaluation activities
• Develop and mentor junior researchers and engineers
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and productivity
• Lead technical management activities across the full development-to-manufacturing lifecycle

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• More than 15 years of R&D experience related to multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC)
• Deep expertise in MLCC materials, processes, and device structures
• Fundamental knowledge of materials science, electrochemistry, and physics
• Experience identifying, evaluating, and introducing new technologies
• Technical communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • English: Advanced
  • Mandarin Chinese: Advanced
  • Ability to use either English or Chinese effectively in a professional environment without operational limitations
