Responsibilities

A fast-growing technology company is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to strengthen its security engineering function as products, cloud infrastructure, and AI-assisted development continue to scale.
This position plays a key role in embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle and creating an environment where engineering teams can innovate safely and efficiently.

■Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security controls across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Conduct security reviews of applications, code, and architecture in collaboration with software engineers and SREs
• Automate security testing and validation through scripts and security tooling
• Evaluate, introduce, and govern AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex
• Establish secure frameworks and guidelines for AI-assisted software development
• Support incident response, vulnerability management, and continuous improvement of security processes
• Drive adoption of security best practices across engineering teams

Requirements

■Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Security Engineer or Software Developer with significant security responsibilities
• Experience designing, building, and operating secure cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
• Programming and scripting experience (e.g., Python, Shell) for security automation and tool integration
• Experience with security assessments, including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and secure code review
• Experience integrating security into modern development environments, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and containerized platforms

■Preferred Qualifications

• Experience securing and operating large-scale, high-availability AWS environments
• Experience with security automation using AI-assisted development tools
• Knowledge of application security, secure coding practices, API security, and OWASP Top 10
• Experience with incident response, log analysis, and cloud-native security monitoring
• Information Security or Cloud Security certifications
• Experience developing AI applications or leveraging AI tools in software development
