- Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:
- Energy Management is responsible for leading the system-level development of automotive energy management solutions in collaboration with global development sites.
- This role serves as the primary technical interface to a Japanese OEM (JOEM) and provides strong technical leadership to guide global engineering teams toward high-quality, customer-compliant product development.
- The position requires deep system engineering expertise, strong ownership, and the ability to drive disciplined execution across global teams with varying levels of technical maturity.

Minimum requirements:
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong background in system engineering for automotive electronics systems or energy management products.
- On-board charger (OBC) system development experience is preferred, including system-level understanding of power electronics, interfaces, and automobile development process.
- Solid experience with system architecture definition, requirement management, and interface control.
- Ability to support and execute customer testing, including on site or joint testing activities.
- Familiarity with software tools for data reading, diagnostics, and calibration, and the ability to analyze test results and feedback.
- Familiarity with automotive validation, verification, and development processes.
- Project Experience:
- Extensive experience in the automotive industry, preferably with Japanese OEM.
- Experience working in global development environments.
- Ability to manage technically complex development activities under quality, cost, and timing constraints.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Proven ability to lead, guide, and influence engineering teams across locations.
- Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to drive technical alignment and enforce standards when required.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Japanese - Native or fluent.
- English - Business level (daily technical communication).
