- Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:
- Costing & Product Cost Control
- Manage costing requests and approvals for Japan/Country scope.
- Perform costing analysis.
- Review and validate forecast and BP costing.
- Share Transfer Pricing (TP) data with relevant stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and documentation of all product costing activities.
- Inventory & Business Waste
- Prepare business waste forecasts and provisions.
- Review and analyse stock counts and investigate variances.
- Prepare and deliver monthly inventory reports with variance analysis and insights.
- Support inventory governance and controls in collaboration with Finance controller and supply chain teams.
- Capital Expenditure (CAPEX)
- Review and submit CAPEX forecasts in line with financial timelines.
- Manage CAPEX-related activities including:
- WBS creation review /Approval
- Capitalization
- Asset disposal
- Asset physical verification as per local regulation and internal policy
- Asset Master data update
- Prepare CAPEX files for submission to local tax authorities where required.
- Ensure compliance with internal CAPEX policies and accounting standards.
- Month-End Closing (MEC) & Factory Cost Control
- Perform factory cost accruals and reclassifications.
- Make sure that SC conduct production order checks and resolve issues.
- Review with collaboration of SC team and resolve COGI errors in SAP to ensure accurate cost postings.
- Support timely and accurate month-end close activities.
- Logistics Cost Control
- Prepare logistics cost accruals and conduct monthly cost reviews.
- Perform monthly P&L updates for logistics costs
- Analyse logistics cost variances and support corrective actions with operations teams.
- FP&A Support
- Perform factory cost analysis and forecasting.
- Conduct COGS analysis and forecasting.
- Support local finance teams in APAC with COGS-related analysis.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required by SCF BP and management.
- Business Partnering & Project Support
- Prepare the financial components of business cases for project and investment proposals.
- Support supply chain and operations teams with cost insights to enable decision-making.
- Support Management System program
- Third-Party Sales & Transfer Pricing
- Manage financial activities related to third-party sales.
- Review quarterly Transfer Pricing.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal TP and invoicing policies.

- Requirements

Minimum requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in cost controlling, supply chain finance, or factory finance (FMCG preferred).
- Strong understanding of:
- Product costing
- Inventory accounting
- Factory and logistics cost structures
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix, multicultural environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive, hands-on, and execution-focused profile.
Preferred qualifications:- Advanced Excel skills, Power BI is a plus.
- (preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- (preferred) Solid SAP knowledge (CO, MM, PP; COGI, production orders, MR22).
