In Japan, we offer products and services in four areas: time-lapse incubators used in infertility treatment, culture media, consumables, and genomics. - Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing & Execution
- Develop implement the regional marketing strategy for Genetics, ensuring synergy and differentiation where appropriate.
- Lead the planning and execution of product launches, establishing milestones, KPIs, and stakeholder accountability.
- Drive the creation and refinement of product messaging, value propositions, and go-to market strategies tailored to APAC market dynamics.
- Market & Customer Insights
- Conduct comprehensive market and customer analysis to identify opportunities, unmet needs, and competitive threats and ensure a strong feedback link to Global team for portfolio development
- Cross-Functional Portfolio responsibilities
- Partner with Sales, Clinical Scientific Support, Marcom and CS to ensure integrated execution of marketing and educational initiatives across both domains.
- Develop tools and initiatives that enable the sales and distributor teams
- Serve as a key regional marketing expert to APAC leadership on product marketing priorities
- Communication & Scientific Engagement
- Define and lead domain-specific and cross-domain communication strategies, including congress activities, scientific workshops, and KOL engagement.
- Ensure Genetics messaging is consistently integrated into regional communications
- Strengthening brand reputation through scientific credibility and stakeholder partnerships.
- Be part of developing and coordinating Regional KOLs related to both current portfolio as well as new product launches.
- Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Establish and monitor KPIs and ROI for product marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular strategic updates and recommendations to APAC and Global Marketing leadership.
- Continuously refine portfolio strategies to ensure measurable business impact and sustainable growth.

- Requirements

Minimum requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, product management, or strategic marketing within medical devices, life sciences, or genetics.
- Proven success in developing and executing regional marketing strategies and proven experience managing multiple product portfolios and launches across diverse markets.
- Strong analytical capability to synthesize market, competitor, and customer data into strategic direction.
- Experience in multinational, cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Japanese or Chinese proficiency strongly preferred. (Native level Japanese or Chinese and business level English)
- Advanced degrees in Marketing, Business, or Life Sciences are an advantage.
