- Responsibilities

Drive brand love and buzz for one of the world’s most exciting brands as a Social Media Specialist. From creating daily content and managing communities on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Twitch, to shaping a unique voice and tapping into trends, you’ll own the pulse of social media. With a focus on organic engagement and turning data into actionable strategies, you’ll ensure the right content meets the right audience at the right time—all while elevating digital expertise across the Japan business.
Main responsibilities:- Channel Management
- You will own the publishing calendar for the assigned social media output in Japan.
- Optimize channel performance through use of analytics, scheduling, featuring, using customized functionalities and driving smooth consumer journeys across platforms.
- Build community through social media community management and community focused initiatives.
- Use the right mix of local and global content to ensure year-long audience engagement – from standalone content to flankers that are created with company events, projects and other properties in mind. Has a strong understanding of what local content will work with a local audience, and how to program it.
- Social Asset Edits & Production
- Develop and produce social first content concepts around our marketing mix with a hyper focus on local relevancy.
- Work closely with internal and external content producers and editors to ensure content is made for the platform to maximize performance. Executes activation plans with the Brand and Communications departments to maximize reach of this content.
- Social Media Strategy
- Works with the Head of Programming to build on the organization’s business plan by creating and programming strategies in support of the organization’s wider marketing mix.

Minimum requirements:
- Fluent level both English and Japanese (Native Japanese level is ideal).
- Required to have past experience in running successful and engaging social media accounts.
- Expert in identifying where consumers live digitally, how they consume content, and how to engage them with content according to their consumption behavior.
- Has a constant sense of online trends and knows how to drive Word of Mouth online.
- Passion for the brand, its content, playgrounds and values, and understands how to translate this into driving brand love in an online environment through media.
