This company is a holding company engaged in microfinance in developing countries through our group companies and major investment destinations, operating in 13 countries across Asia and Africa. Their combined customer base, including their group companies and major investments, has surpassed 2.4 million. They have also received international certification for our high public interest, socially, and environmentally conscious business practices. To achieve the mission of delivering financial inclusion worldwide and to drive further growth, they are seeking individuals to lead the IPO project.
- Lead/Support equity fundraising from private/growth equity funds, venture capitals, corporates, and individuals
- Lead/Support debt fundraising from Japanese/international financial institutions/DFI(development Finance Institutions)/impact funds
- Support IPO preparation process in coordination with investment banks, lawyers and shareholder registration agencies, etc.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:- Equity/Debt Fundraising
- Lead preparation of investor presentations, including investor decks, information memorandum, quarterly reports, VDR, and press releases etc.
- Support handling the due diligence processes & legal documentation
- Support equity story discussions and institutional investor communications for IPO and investor relations efforts post-IPO
- Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to support and optimize group company level fundraising efforts
- Shareholder Relations
- Lead timely disclosures (financial and non-financial), including quarterly IR report, to the existing shareholders and lenders to develop to maintain the transparency that leads to the maintenance of trustworthy relationships
- Support the management of monthly shareholders meetings and the statutory annual general meeting of shareholders
- Administration and other responsibilities
- Responding to inquiries from group companies
- Contribute to cross-functional team discussions and provide insights especially from IR and fundraising perspectives
- Other ad-hoc activities and tasks to support other members in Finance and IPO preparation team
- IPO Preparation
- Working closely with internal stakeholders as well as investment bank and other external stakeholders to develop, coordinate, and assist the implementation of necessary policies, processes and controls
- Seek for an opportunity of information meetings through conferences, investment banks and referrals to start engaging with public market investors in advance

- Prior experience at professional firms such as investment bank/private equity/FAS or finance/corporate planning positions at international financial institutions preferred
- Literacy in MS Office and/or Google spreadsheet
