Our client is operates a flat glass business and other businesses.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

• Procurement and delivery management (ordering and delivery management of raw materials, materials, finished products, etc. from internal and external suppliers (domestic and overseas))
  • Order processing using ERP system
  • Delivery date management (coordination with overseas suppliers mainly through e-mail, teleconferencing, and internal communication tools)
  • Coordination with suppliers regarding inquiries and requests from related departments (order details, delivery dates, etc.)
  • Obtaining quotations from suppliers
  • Support transportation arrangements in cooperation with logistics department and forwarders.
• Supplier management and evaluation
  • Selection of new suppliers
  • Evaluation and management of existing suppliers
  • Cost management, evaluation and cost reduction activities
• Coordination of defect claims
  • Credit collection from suppliers
  • Processing and coordination of replacement order
• Production planning
  • Collecting demand data, and confirming raw materials and materials required for production
  • Production planning and purchase request based on demands
  • Production schedule deployment to manufacturing department
  • ERP inventory control

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Experience in administration, or purchasing or procurement (For purchasing or procurement experience, it is not mandatory to have an experience of coordination with both domestic and overseas suppliers, and regardless of years of its experience)
• Experience of coordinating with overseas suppliers using English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Self-motivated, strong interpersonal and communication skills

 Preferred qualifications:

• Interest in aerospace and manufacturing industries
• IT knowledge of ordering and inventory information management (have used ERP system)
• Knowledge of logistics and import/export
