Responsibilities
Act as an internal consultant and change agent to facilitate the adoption and improvement of agile principles, agile tools, values and practices across multiple product development teams. Drive continuous improvement through, coaching, training and helping remove obstacles.
Main responsibilities:
  • Train teams on agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban and lean development practices.
  • Coach teams through agile ceremonies and help optimize workflows. Facilitate agile ceremonies and give feedback.
  • Help product teams with the transition to self-organization and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, tools and communication across teams.
  • Facilitate organizational change towards agility through training managers, scrum masters, product owners and other stakeholders.
  • Measure key agile adoption and productivity metrics across product development teams.
  • Conduct regular sessions with individual teams to review their metrics, identify areas for improvement, and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Troubleshoot impediments teams face with process, tools, prioritization etc. Remove blockers.
  • Research and share agile best practices from across the industry.
  • Act as a mentor and advisor to Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
  • Build an agile culture of continuous learning, feedback and improvement.
  • Facilitate and observe specific rituals of a project, a team or a tribe such as Roadmap creation, Value-based prioritization,  Risk workshops,…
  • Challenge teams in order to ensure the understanding of good practices and the need for continuous improvement
  • Act as the senior agile advisor and thought leader within the organization.
  • Scale agile frameworks across large, complex programs with multiple teams.
  • Develop customized agile transformations based on organizational needs.
  • Lead workshops and train-the-trainer sessions to develop internal agile coaches
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in scrum role ( agile coach, scrum maser, product owner, product manager)
  • Knowledge of Agile Practices
    • Knowledge of coaching techniques and stance (active listening, effective questioning, and providing constructive feedback)
    • Knowledge of Product Management techniques (Product Vision, Story Mapping, Product Backlog...)
    • Knowledge Agile project management methods and associated tools (Visual management, Agile indicators, Agile KPI, Jira and confluence)
    • Skilled in writing effective user stories following INVEST criteria.
    • Mastery of Scrum and Kanban practices (especially rituals such as daily meetings, retrospectives, demos...)
  • Expert knowledge of agile principles and methodologies like Scrum, Kanban.
  • Pioneer level expertise with multiple frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, Spotify model etc.
  • Business level proficiency in both English and Japanese.
  • Experience driving organizational change and transformation.
  • Ability to train and influence diverse groups.
  • Results and metrics-driven with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Advance level agile certifications.
  • Experience mentoring and developing other agile coaches/consultants.
  • Ability to adapt depending on the audience (Technical experts, Product managers, Heads of departments)
