Responsibilities

As Accounting manager you will partner with the whole organization to perform financial management duties including generating. In this role, you will report to the Controller.*Hybrid work of coming to the office and working from home is possible
Main responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
• Make estimates of provision required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
• Complete financial reports, initiate the month-end closing process in accordance with GAAP.
• Support the controller to develop budgeting forecasting and reporting.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
• Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with company accounting policy and local financial accounting standards and prepare cashflow forecasting.
• Supervise finance staff by reviewing their task and give them feedback properly.
• US SOX self-assessment

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• More than 7 years of related experience.
• Fluent Japanese and Business English level required.
• TOEIC 730 or over.
• Experience in using ERP Oracle/SAP. Oracle is preferred.
