Responsibilities

Assistant manager position, reporting to the accounting manager. Depending on your experience, you will be entrusted with the main duties of either general accounting or taxation. Depending on the busy and slow seasons, you may be asked to support tasks other than your main tasks.
Main responsibilities:

• General accounting (financial accounting, management accounting)
  • Closing management and monthly report creation (financial summary, accounting adjustment journal entry, IFRS)
  • Daily tasks (bookkeeping, accounts payable management, document check)
  • Collaboration with affiliated companies in the US, UK, and China, email and review session exchanges with responsible persons in each country
  • Business automation, process improvement, etc.
• Tax accounting
  • Tax return related tasks (corporate tax, local tax)
  • Tax effect accounting tasks
  • Audits, tax investigations
  • Internal flow development including internal control, etc.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• General accounting knowledge (financial accounting, management accounting)
• English proficiency (enough to communicate by email and verbally)
• Those who are eager to try new things will be a good fit.

Preferred qualifications:

• Nissho Bookkeeping Level 1 or higher
• Language proficiency: TOEIC score of 800 or higher
