Responsibilities
  • Is accountable for all aspects of IT services either provided and managed locally or provided from any other group of the entire IT organization
  • Manage escalation process accordingly when failures in services deliveries out of SLA.
  • Develop and drive IT strategies to align with a high impact business agenda supporting Function/Business Area, including the integration points between this function and other business partners.
  • Collaborate and be accountable for relationships with Function/Business Area stakeholders at business or Cluster level as well as vendors, industry consultants and senior company management to define information needs, develop business cases and priorities, sustain service levels, and proactively managing business demands.
  • Represent IT to multiple Function/Business Area leaders by maintaining a high degree of visibility and providing a central point of information and champion for all related IT activities for the function
  • Be a trusted advisor on helping the business to construct meaningful business cases for necessary investments and the required change management activities that the business will be required to perform for success
  • Understand and anticipate the direction of the Function/Business Area, identify opportunities based on the capability needs of the function/business and make recommendations to support the desired future state outcome
  • Initiate and maintain a Function/Business Area capabilities roadmap by keeping current with technology advancements and digital innovations within the subject matter area
  • Become a thought leader by introducing different ways that technology can maximize value in our pursuit operational improvements and revenue growth
  • Has a deep knowledge and experience of the latest market and technology trends related to our industry and particularly to the Business of his/her area
  • Connects with the Regional and Global IT teams to keep alignment between product regional applications roadmap and business needs.
  • Leverages the Regional / Global expertise in solving country / cluster IT / Business requirements / problems.
  • Explore internal portfolio first and align with Global/Regional teams on external solutions.
  • Work closely with Regional HR partners ensuring BPTW standards and corporate processes compliance.
  • Manage Regional spend and IT investments according to plan and ensure timely deliverables during Budget and Forecasts processes.
  • Be accountable and lead all the different responsible IT Teams during IT audit execution in his\her remit (Business\Geographical)
  • Work with senior leaders to evolve culture and organizational behavior, elevating IT into a strategic partner.
  • Manage the demand and associated portfolio of technology investments for the function and take accountability for the successful delivery of projects to meet the anticipated benefits.
  • Drives process standardization across geographies and GBUs.
  • Drives reduction of low value tasks in order to free up time to work on added value activities
  • Able to propose enhancements to the processes, and understand how to make them standards / leverage existing processes from other Businesses / clusters
Requirements
Qualifications /Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field such as technology, economics, computer science, data management, communication, marketing or statistics
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience working with business leadership in driving value to the business.
  • Business level English and Japanese

  • Refined and mature ability to work with and understand business needs via conversation and interaction with all levels within the company
  • Highly skilled and experienced at negotiating conflict and problem-solving to achieve winwin outcomes at executive levels
  • Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods
  • Ability to set expectations with business partners and effectively leverage governance for a positive business partner experience
  • Be able to influence others, using personal rather than positional power
  • Broad understanding of Information Technology platforms and processed (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain …)
  • Issue and Problem Management, ITIL, System Development Life Cycle
