Our client serves as the Japanese subsidiary of a renowned luxury chocolate company with European origins. They are highly acclaimed for their exceptional high-quality chocolates and offer a delightful range of chocolate-related sweets and treats.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of the Category leader, lead the process of the assigned product from concept development to launch and review, working closely with the Chef and other relevant departments in Japan (Including OEM suppliers)
• Develop product concepts, products and packaging based on the company's strategy while reflecting consumer insights
• Provide information necessary for consumer communication activities to PR, VMD (Store displays, visual development), CMK (customer relations, promotion) sales teams and so on for internal briefing on the developed products as appropriate and take actions to maximize sales
• Proactively conduct post-launch reviews and propose plans for the following year
• COGS and P/L management for assigned products
• Manage marketing budget for assigned products

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Marketing experience including new product development in consumer goods
• Record of accomplishments in marketing activities
• Creative and innovative thinker
• Able to think logically
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships across all divisions of the company
• Collaborative and able to lead projects
• Open to change and can learn quickly
• Communicates effectively both inside and outside the organization
• Desire to increase his/her contribution to the team and the company without defining own scope
• Desire to work in a fast-paced and results-oriented operating environment
