Responsibilities

• Conducting spiral engineering evaluations
• Reviewing applications and drawings to check product suitability
• Supporting site installations and commissioning of spiral technologies
• Providing technical training
• Providing both remote and site troubleshooting of spirals
• Conducting technical audits and health checks
• Managing performance issues
• Testing of proposed solutions, in-house with suppliers or as field testing
• Maintaining spiral demo equipment

Requirements

Desirable qualifications: 

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or relevant experience of an engineering role involving mechanical equipment 
• Native Japanese and fluent English (TOEIC score 600 or more) 
• Ability to travel frequently, work weekends and holidays, work occasional overtime when required 
• Excellent communications skills 
• Self-motivated, team-player, passion for learning 
• Work hands-on 
• Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
