- Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:
- As a Senior IT Project Manager in Japan IT, leading the digital transformation in Japan and serve as the go-to person for global IT project organization.
- Overseeing the entire Japan project portfolio and work within a cross-functional team.
- Leading projects for end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives, ensuring business value.
- Responsibilities include project planning, execution, stakeholder management, risk management, team leadership, and communication/reporting.
- Build Strong Stakeholder Relationships:
- Establish robust relationships with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs and provide suitable IT solutions.
- Align IT Strategy with Business Objectives:
- Ensure alignment of IT strategy with business goals, guaranteeing that IT investments deliver value and support organizational objectives.
- Advocate for IT Initiatives:
- Champion IT initiatives and projects, securing appropriate prioritization and resources.
- Monitor Project Progress:
- Supervise IT project progress, proactively addressing issues to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Oversee IT Project Portfolio:
- Manage the IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery of value.
- Establish Portfolio Management Processes:
- Develop and maintain portfolio management processes and tools for visibility, control, and decision support.
- Collaborate for Efficient Resource Allocation:
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to prioritize projects, allocate resources efficiently, and manage risks and interdependencies.
- Regular Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor the health and progress of the IT portfolio, providing regular updates to senior leadership and making recommendations for improvements.
- Requirements

Minimum requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure project management.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- 5 or more years of experience in managing global projects.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Business level
Preferred qualifications:- Technical knowledge and skill is plus.
