Responsibilities

The Data Strategy Manager at DBT will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Digital Business Transformation (DBT) strategy by defining, developing, and implementing data strategies and solutions. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to harness the power of data, optimize processes, and drive innovation within the Japan commercial System and Next Generation Data Platform. Main responsibilities:

• Data Strategy Development
  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the company's Digital Business Transformation (DBT) goals.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to identify business objectives and translate them into data-driven initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our data strategy remains cutting-edge.
• Data Architecture and Infrastructure in commercialization
  • Define and oversee the implementation of data architectures, data lakes, and data warehouses to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with IT in locally and internationally to ensure data infrastructure is scalable, robust, and aligned with business objectives.
• Data visualization and Collaboration
  • Foster collaboration and communication among different departments to encourage data sharing and cross-functional insights.
  • Identify opportunities for data monetization or partnerships that can enhance our data assets.
  • Design and lead a visual dashboard (a performance report in Qlick sense) to track the performance at regular basis.
• Vendor and Tool Selection
  • Evaluate and select appropriate data analytics and business intelligence tools and platforms.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to data and analytics solutions.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Proven experience in data strategy　development and execution, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Project management.
• KPI and BI dashboard design and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance, and data architecture principles.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools, data visualization concept
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Good negotiating skills
• Capable of analytical thinking & decisive
• High level of accountability & ownership
