Our client is a global cosmetics and beauty product manufacturer that operates a wide range of businesses both domestically and internationally. They manufacture various beauty products, including skincare, haircare, makeup, and fragrances. Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

• Acts as a proactive business partner, support business relationships working closely with the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for data in Japan
• Participates in the definition and prioritization of business requirements
• Coordinates and integrates the different contents and deliverables to ensure the overall consistency and coherence of the designed solution
• Support the implementation strategy of the program and supervises the change management activities including training, user support and communication
• Tracks projects risks and decides on corrective measures and/ or any trade-offs needed to achieve objectives and minimize delays and costs
• Liaises with regional IT partner to effectively manage the allocated internal/ external resources including third parties’ activities (incl. vendor partners)
• Support and improve the ongoing running of applications, with efficient vendor management.
• Ensures the development of expertise and know how in his/ her field of responsibility

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to thrive in a multi-cultural team
• Able to quickly understand the data & analytics requirements and KPIs in digital and ecommerce
• Working knowledge of data, BI & Analytics technologies (data warehouses, marts, big data platforms, reporting and visualizations) is a must
• Working knowledge of documenting business requirements; and leveraging agile delivery frameworks to deliver on requirements incrementally
• Strong communication skills in English and Japanese, both verbal and written is a must.
• Strong skillset and understanding in PaaS (Google Cloud Platform is the platform of choice)
• Proven experience in managing vendor partner relationships and delivery in an offshore delivery/ services model
• Ability to adapt, and think ‘out of the box’
• Hands-on experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in digital or ecommerce data is highly preferred
• Google Cloud Platform/ Scrum/ PMI certifications will be a plus
