Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:
・Business analysis to gather BI system requirements.・Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to drive data store/ data warehouse/ data mart design and configuration.・Use BI tools to load data store/ data warehouse/ data mart.・Transition developed BI systems to the relevant business partners.・Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of JP-C data and BI environments.・Ensure proper configuration management and change controls.・Provide technical assistance and cross training to the relevant business partners.・Process mapping, process improvement and translation into technical requirements.・Provide impactful and credible communication to senior leadership with the ability to tailor language and knowledge to meet the business needs.・Manage projects to include efficient resource mobilization, vendor selection, definition of scope and requirements, and achievement of timelines, budgets & deliverables.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:
・8+ years of relevant experience in data reporting or related field, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotech, or high-tech industries.・Relevant professional experience with BI systems and SQL.・Extensive experience with data warehouse implementations.・Strong knowledge of data warehouse/ BI concepts and methodologies from both operations and project execution views.・Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills to collaborate with be able to the relevant business partners and senior leadership.・Excellent organizational, planning, project, vendor and resource management skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects.・Keen analytical mind with superior problem solving and technical skills.・Collaborative and co-creational role-model, leading work horizontally, vertically, and transversally across a regional organization, including cross-functionally.・Strong learning agility able to rapidly study, understand and be effective in new situations and manage new business problems.・Fluent in written and spoken business Japanese and English.
