Responsibilities
The Sales Development Representative /Inside Sales Specialist will work closely with Marketing, Solution and User growth teams to collect and organize sales leads that fit well with our products in the Japan market. You will be responsible for detecting market opportunities and developing leads across all channels, including marketing events, industry reports, blogs, social media, among others. You will ensure that our sales leads are of the highest quality, with the goal of targeting potential customers. Meanwhile, you are in charge of grading all the leads and distributing them to the hands of sales representatives in a timely manner.
SDR are responsible for developing and qualifying new prospect opportunities within their assigned territory. SDRs work closely with Marketing, AEs and Alliances teams in developing targeted strategies and messaging to drive new opportunities. In partnership with these groups, we educate prospects, build relationships, qualify opportunities and generate healthy sales pipeline.
Main responsibilities:
  • Generating new business opportunities to fuel the Sales Pipeline
  • Conducting high level conversations with business owners in prospect accounts
  • Achieving monthly & quarterly quotas of Meetings Generated and Qualified Opportunities
  • Develop your sales skills, market understanding, solutions knowledge and customer approach to generate valuable business opportunities.
  • Attend training and coaching regularly and adopt proven selling methodology.
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
  • 2 - 7 years of technology related business development or proven experience in SDR/Inside Sales function or leads generation within the Japan market
  • Knowledge or previous experience in using (any) tools like: Outreach - SalesLoft - Salesforce - HubSpot - LinkedIn Sales Navigator - ZoomInfo - etc.
  • Passionate about technology/SaaS/PaaS/IaaS and sales
  • Willingness to learn and ambition to grow professionally
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Proficiency in Japanese because this role will be working with external clients in Japan.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in a B2B environment, high-tech products/services preferred
